Senior Litigation Assistant

San Francisco, CA | $110,000 - $120,000

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Assistant to join their Commercial Litigation Department. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with 6+ years of complex litigation experience who excels in managing competing priorities and providing exceptional support to attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience supporting attorneys in complex litigation matters
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Extensive experience with state and federal court e-filing
  • Proficiency with document management systems, such as NetDocs
  • Experience with legal timekeeping and billing software; Elite experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, revise, and manage pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents
  • Coordinate and file documents in state and federal courts, including appellate matters
  • Maintain electronic case files and support new client onboarding using the firm's records management system
  • Assist with attorney billing, travel arrangements, and expense processing
  • Provide high-level administrative support while working collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and firm personnel
